one of them worked in africa and apparently had a pet abyssinian long eared owl that used to accompany him to work perched on the passenger seat of his landrover.
when queried .... "a fecking what?" the other bloke thought he was on about his landrover (and not the abyssinian long eared owl) so explained it was a series 3 landrover "you know tom, the one with the recessed radiator grille"
it was then i done a f**king big old tilt.
