couple of points....

first up, i don't know you must have a amazing memory to recall players attributes from so long back (it's all i can do to put names to faces) and then compare them to recent players. secondly, and by no means thirdly, the game has moved on a zillion years in terms of coaching, fitness, techniques etc. I don't think it's fair or possible to make a comparison over such a period.
