As after all, we all go to work, and it is our responsibility to motivate ourselves to do something at work. The manager can't physically force you to anything. He can pay you more money, or give other perks or threaten you with the sack etc, but you have the responsibility to do the work at the end of the day. Sadly the players didn't today.

I think either the manager goes or the players go. And it would be cheaper to sack the manager.
