So I've been thinking...

...if the aim is, as most keep saying, to stay in the Prem this season then what's the aim next season? And the season after that? And so on...

I would suggest it'll be the same and if Hoots is still our manager I can't see how a cautious chap is going to suddenly change his cautious approach - especially if there is a statistical points total to reach to maintain Prem survival...

What I mean is I can't see things changing next season, or after, the dull approach will suffice if it keeps us in the top flight...

What I also find odd is that for many of you that isn't an issue as it's all about the Prem and nothing else...

In fact I think that's rather sad but perhaps it's a generation who've known nothing but Sky TV...

Anyway, hope I'm wrong, but based on what we've seen so far, Hoots is a cautious chap so in all probability 0-0s will continue to be the order of the day...

We shall see...
