'mid table mediocrity' doesn't mean very much to me. If we're mid table it means we're a good run away from challenging for Europe- which is exciting - or a bad run away from relegation (like now) - also exciting, if for completely the wrong reasons.

Personally I find the prospect of all matches exciting, no matter what our league position.
