Der Himmel ... is a great story - basically about seperation (East/West, angel/human, man/woman, sky/earth, etc.). Nice touch to have Columbo as an ex-angel. Even the Bad Seeds get a look in. And the opening line ("Als das Kind, ein Kind war") shows that the German language can handle a bit of poetry ...

Very clever: "the Walter Ruttmann film of course" - as if I've ever heard of him ... Enlighten me!
