Wasn't a rumour - ticket stated that the train would be alcohol free
But when we left Norwich, plod made an announcement that they would tolerate responsible drinking and then the cafe opened selling beers.
I think Greater Anglia did a good job but because of our f**ked up railway system, there was little if any communication with East Midlands trains which caused all the problems - should've cancelled the 11.57 to Peterborough or made it a pre-book footy special.
I hope the train companies can put on more special trains for away games - make em pre book only with limited booze sales on board and they would be a great success.
