I think the excellent Olympic coverage deserves a mention.

And that it's still available online.

Having experienced a sizeable chunk of the French coverage at the time the standard here was fantastic. Not jingoistic, not shallow, generally fair and balanced and with a good level of insight and expertise most of the time.

Shame there was no Sharron Davies but you can't have everything.
