In the early months, he did pee in a couple of places. After they were clean, we shut the doors so he couldn't go back there, and then introduced the litter tray

Is it possible to move the dog bed? The association is there and marked now. It will end when they're young enough to forget what they've done

Maybe start a lit tray in the kitchen

Training wise, if you ever catch them doing it, go mad, and shout them out the door. They'll get the message quickly
