You make some good points. By ?less-than-warranted? the author meant they deserved the win, as in the point they got was less than what they warranted from a game they dominated.

The fixtures over the Christmas period, not in the run up to Christmas, he was referring to are games with Chelsea, Man City and West Ham away, not the ones in the build up, though Everton and Man United are obviously teams that Norwich won?t expect to get anything from, while Reading away isn?t going to be easy.

It was an error on author's part on the ?bridge the gap? comment, you?re correct - we did indeed mean the opposite. We intend to amend the copy promptly.
