Greetings
and hats off to you all for paying the extortionate ticket prices!
Really depends what sort of pubs you are after.
The main nightlife street is Prince of Wales Road but on a Friday/Saturday night its a bit of a hellhold full of tacky bars and clubs. a good laugh if you are wasted but more for the younger age group if you ask me.
The bars around the Tombland/Princes Street area are a bit better and will be busy.
Lots of Curry Houses down Magdalen Street.
A few reasonable restaurants and pubs down st Benedicts Street.
Generally lots of quite good pubs all over the city centre. If people like proper beer try the Fat Cat (taxi ride out), Fat Cat and Canary, Coach and Horses (Thorpe Road also a decent option pre-game). Belgian Monk also quite good if you like foreign beers.
There also seem to be a multitude of lap dancing clubs in the city centre these days if thats your type of thing!
