but I heard the 1st call is always awful, because that's the best commission on their side. If that operator gets you on the first call, then they've suckered someone into the crappest deal, and the operator earns his corn

If you say no, you almost rise a level in the office. Then you reject that call, and you rise to the office above them

All the while the commission is going down

Hence my suggestion about waiting 3 days till you're cut off. You might be able to cut out the middle man of answering calls. With 3 days to go, you'll probably be on the top floor, and they'll give you what want

Within 3 calls once, I had the I wanted (it was the Satio, but at the time it had literally just been released). Everywhere it was ?35. It only took 4 calls with vodafone and I got it for ?18 a month.....................then I sold it on ebay for ?350 :D
