There's about ?70 credit on it because I only put ?10 on a month. 02 don't even take the 10 off, they just give me 500 texts and 500mb of data for topping up

4 months on, others would pay ?35 a month for the same phone

Depends on your definition of not paying for a phone. In paying for a phone, I'm saving ?25 a month on someone else who would be tied to ?25 extra for two years (?250)

With that in mind, I'm happy with the freedom of not having an arsey network who won't help me unless it's renewal time

Oh, and I have about ?35 in cashback vouchers from topping up, something contracts don't do

There's lots of great reasons to buy a phone
