I would say that's probably the way most people see it

I think the great thing is that you DO get to see sportspeople who ordinarily are not on the radar but who are extraordinary in what they do.

For so many of them, this is the global pinnacle of what they do, therefore to see us on top of the world so often this week is astonishing.

And good god - how MUCH it means to them! Footballers and their po-faced celebrations. Look at the faces of those rowers... Jess... Mo...

Football will always be my favourite sport but for the combination of drama, entertainment and pridfe/respect, this is better than anything else, I truly believe that.
