Who would you replace him with is a stupid question, in my opinion

Nobody would have suggested replacing Hamilton with some bloke who'd managed Blackpool to only 44 wins in 134 games and finished 12th in the table his first season in charge, but then finished 14th in his second - so looking at it bluntly, Blackpool were going backwards with him at the helm.

Yet we did put that bloke in charge and he went on to take us to Cardiff, then get us promoted.
