The reality for Holt is
Most of his career has been spent in lower league football and they don't make big bucks. He is now entering the twighlight of his career and he has decided to put his family's future first and who can blame him for that? Being a legend don't put food on the table. Legendary status didn't do Gunny too many favours. He tried do his best for the club and look where that got him.
