they've won the European club and have a much bigger fanbase and ground than us. People who don't think they're clearly bigger than us just don't have much knowledge of football.
It was never likely that one of the really big ckubs would take a gamble on Lambert. I only ever feared him leaving for Newcastle, Everton, Villa or Sunderland (the premier L:eague's 2nd Tier size-wise). Since three of those have managers they're quite happy with he reastically HAD to take this one when it came up - next year Adkins or McDermott will probably be flavour of the month and Lambert's would have been and gone (whatever happened to George Burley's career for instance)
