Citeh are looking at circumnavigating it 'cos of their sponsorship deal with Etihad and promised redevelopment of the areas surrounding the stadium.

The last paragraph of the official statement by Chelsea says:

"As well as a new home for our club, the development would include a town centre with substantial street-level retail shops, affordable housing and offices - all of which would benefit Wandsworth and bring a significant number of permanent jobs to the area. We would also make a significant contribution towards the Northern Line Extension, a new high-volume transport link proposed for the area."

You'd have to quite cynical to think they're doing that to avoid FFP rules - but incredibly stupid to not think that that's quite a large part of the rationale.

As you say with Twattini and his mob - Roman and the Abu Dhabi Dib Dabs can afford the best lawyers in the world, UEFA can't get anywhere near 'em
