I would play weakened teams in the group stages

and then if we were out of the FA Cup and League Cup and stumbled in to the last 16 say then maybe we could give it more of a go.

The Europa League is an absolutely ridiculous mess of a competition though and it would be bloody stupid to give two s**ts about it in the Autumn.
