Very good summary. One of the more telling episodes for me
was when Delia (at a fans gathering I think) was challenged about the re-appointment of Gunn and responded by all but shrugging her shoulders and saying "Well who else is out there?".
This really said it all. A hapless club run by a Chief Executive and Chairman who simply knew nothing about football but who managed to convince the majority shareholders that they were good old boys and a safe pair of hands. Delia was hoodwinked for years and I can only imagine the scales falling away from her eyes after about - oooh, I don't know - five minutes in McNally's company?
But yes, excellent post CSP and a very fair summary of the mess and those who shared the blame.
