Big odds against to go up? For sure

With a normal manager, as opposed to an extraordinary one, we'd have been mid-table last season. But sometimes, as with Man City 1999-2000, momentum can do remarkable things; except it almost always runs out in the Prem.

Even though the bottom half is hardly anything special, look at the way gravity is slowly pulling all three promoted clubs towards danger. It's so hard for a club to stay up, then establish itself, without a benefactor; and with the lack of quality in our squad (Wes excepted), to stay up at all would be amazing. That many people tipped us to do it is purely because of Lambert really: we'd be nowhere without him.
