maybe a better start on paper but

this is not always a good thing. some promoted teams take a while to acclimatise to the prem and, by the time they look the part, a bad start has done 'em. The Blackpool and Hull route is memorable but not the norm. we've picked up points regularly from a standing start and could easily get better not worse.
