Insurance - well, depends. Boy or girl will make a difference as well as the car. Boys are more expensive and you'd be looking well over ?2,000 premium on a fiesta type car to insure one in a his own name. There are some specialist insurance brokers now doing young driver insurance - Orange Marmalade is one, I Kube another. As ever, shop around.
