It appears the contract is up at the end of this season and the Beeb have not bid for a new one.

If Alan Hanson is actually on ?40k a week then how much is Lineker on, also Shearer and Lawrenson.

Before long the BBC will have no sport except once a year tennis and a load of toffs rowing a boat.

How much did they spunk away by sending every man, woman and their dogs to China for the Olympics?

Maybe in this digital age it is time for a BBC sport Channel funded in part by the licence fee and in part by advertising.

Sport should have more importance than f**king Eastenders, Come dancing and that god awful One Show which is just a vehicle for guest to sell their wares.
