Makes a lot of sense why he was so busy if he had made a choice. Why exactly should ending your life be a choice made by terminal illness? He might have just felt his time was up. It might be selfish, it might be all sorts of things. But it's what he did. Unless he's left anything behind to say otherwise, he's taken it with him
