not saying she didnt make mistakes....

especially in the last 2 years with poll tax etc.... BUT in the interest of balance, actually compare the state of the country in 1979 with how she left it.... in a MUCH healthier position, incentives for people to own their own houses buying from the council was a genuious idea, as was the incentives for small businesses.... after all she was a green grocers daughter and her father started from scratch. Its all too easy forget the good things for this country she did.

As for the falklands - thats a whole different thread for another day.
