claiming he's made "damaging accusations against an entire fanbase" when he hasn't and what appears to be strong suggestions that he's made up the fact he's received racist abuse from the odd Norwich fan (which, I'm sorry, I can truly believe)

By all means ask him if he has any evidence, but to suggest without it he's clearly making it up, seems a bit, well.....I dunno, wrong.

And by the way, I detest him and his tweeting style.
