And even at the amateur level, I have a son who is pretty quick for a white boy, but every single serious schoolboy he's in is won by a black boy. And that is nothing to do with cultural heritage or a desire to vreak out of poverty (his great rivals are at Eton, Wellington and Dulwich College). The fastest boy at his school is black. The fastest boy in his county is black. The 100m final in 2012 will almost certainly be contested by 8 black men. In fact I can't think of a white guy in the 100m Olympic final since Alan Wells, and that was only because the yanks weren't there! So I'm really struggling with the idea there's no physiological difference
