having seen what can be achieved as a collective, it just seems that will all

go down the pan if we go our separate ways. whether it be the armed forces or the british olympic team we do work together very well and to, in a way, become lesser nations than the sum of the parts then we will be poorer for it. the banter is fine, each nation has it's strengths and weaknesses of course.

then there are all the petty practicalities of dissolving the union, like seperate passports, border controls, currencies blah blah bore....

i know people will point to europe and the lack of "borders" and the euro currency but they still need to control their borders because each country has different laws and taxes. also, .... the euro, hmm.
