Has Frank Lampard ever been dropped before?
I'm pretty sure he hasn't.
He had a decent Euros in 04 and since then... nothing.
Pretty much ruined two England careers - Scholes and Gerrard - and has been integral to England's failings across the past six years.
Heard a stat last night: first time that neither Gerrard or Lampard have started a competitive game since the Brazil WC QF in 2002.
NINE FUCKING YEARS!
