Question about the Official Wrath Laptop

I got Mrs Git an emergency laptop the other day and got the Official Wrath one (the Toshiba)

Mrs Git's old one was fixed and so this one was spare, so I'm using it on my holibobs because pressure of work has intruded into my Long Vacation grrrr

Anyway, the bastard thing has this habit of the cursor doing things without me wanting them - eg it behaves as though I've left clicked when I haven't, or it enlarges/shrinks text, or it grows a little bar with up/down arrows and then whizzes around really fast

I've looked at the touchpad settings (I'm not using a mouse just the pad) and can't see anything to desensitise the little f**ker

Any tips?
