Your relationship with your father was yours alone

It was within you and just because he is no longer there, it doesn't mean that the relationship has ended.

It helps the grieving process to play out some scenarios like this. It is good for you to have a dialogue which, while presented as with your father, is essentially an expression of your own thoughts and feelings.

Very, very normal mate.
