This may be a little harsh, but he does seem to be quite injury prone. He's had three or four different injuries this season. Maybe Worthy didn't want to rush him back. As for Helveg, I think he only missed two games (Bolton and the Arse, where he came on I think), and again Worthy prob didn't want to chuck him him after half a reserve game.

I think Worthy has made mistakes this season, as has every other manager. The only time he has had a fully fit (and up to speed) squad is over the last 8/9 games, where we had a great run of form. He's also been very flexible with formations, trying various ones in order to get the best out of his team.

I think he's done alright this year, and hopefully will have learned from his mistakes and his successes and take them into next season and beyond.
