so adding in a bit of inflation and subsequent reduction due to him being an older player than what Ashton was at the time and it's hard to argue, this day and age for that fee. Some of it COULD be dependent on us staying up remember.

Also, we have to meet the price determined by demand and supply. Fair credit to Peterborough for holding out on such a figure.

Just suppose, 12 months ago WBA came in for Holt, having just got promoted. We would have been pretty jarred off if he went for ?2m wouldn't we?
