different standard of player

Played division1/2 from the age of 16, scored a tonne of goals and was a known quantity. I'm not saying CMS is an unknown, but Ashton was a special player, there was a youtube....I know.....with his goal montage for Crewe. He was the real deal. CMS, not sure. 35 goals is incredible but seems like his main attribute is work-rate, not a bad thing, just the same could be said of Andy Hughes or Gary Holt at Premiership level.
