Because they are tautological.

'Change' measured in positions rather than points makes your Feb 19th look more inaccurate, especially your elimination of Reading from the playoffs.

If you explain anomalies by saying 'well we knew that sort of thing would happen' it kind of undermines the whole' 'prediction' claim...
