The original argument

was that increasing supply while raising prices (in a recession) seemed an unusual approach.

As each new seat cost money to install, then each time a seat is empty then potential revenue is lost.

The numbers suggest that, at this level (and current price), saturation point has nearly been reached (an average of 1200 empty seats each game at FCR).
