You keep putting messages on the radio in which you insist that you're waiting for me, here, listening to the radio, because you need me to drive the truck. This is all well and good, and obviously I'll help wherever I can, although I'm not sure I'm exactly what you need.

However, you've begun to give me mixed messages: I was just getting around to making the 'phone call to offer my puzzlingly necessary help when another of your number came on the radio telling me you urgently need me to come and do something different - I forget what, but it sounded a bit more dangerous.

Again: are you sure a fifty year old bald fat bloke with no military training and a frankly appalling attitude to authority is precisely what you're lacking? Well, I'm sure you know best, so if you could just have a bit of a meeting and decide between yourselves exactly which of you needs me the most, I'll grudgingly come along and off a few undesirables as you direct.

If poss could you give me a bell directly, rather than leave your messages on the public radio stations please? It's hardly going to help me if you can't keep a secret.
