if you are of the opinion the "table doesn't lie" then its pretty relevent........

ppg for the first 30 games is highly correlated to ppg for the last 16 games..........

Meaning "on average" teams that are s**t for the first 30 tend to be s**t for the last 16 ect ect.........

So its a pretty good average indicator of how teams will finish and what points are needed.
