well we had been split up by our experienced parenting team

i was to travel in the back of my uncles car with my mother and cousin. my evil bro was to travel in my father's car with little bro, another cousin and auntie . we were on our way to knowsley safari park when my auntie spotted my bro and his "device" which she foolishly decided to dismantle in the back of the car. the friction caused the device to go off and three things happened immediately; the explosion burnt her hands, my dad's car got a dent in the roof, the safari park trip never happened.

there followed a few years of limited contact.
