Dave is utterly, utterly NOT a dog name

With a dog name you have to imgaine (a) calling it out loud, repeatedly, in the company of others (so two syllables are really useful here); and (b) saying it in a really cross way to make the dog pay attention

Dave is an EPIC FAIL on both counts
