tbf i cant see it being true, bit of a strange move for such a big organisation

plus we all know what the notw are like dont we.

on the celtic site it also says:

The statement reads: "The actions of this small minority have no place at Celtic Park. We are currently investigating the matter and, clearly, we apologise for any offence caused."

so seems like they are distancing themselves from the prats who held the banners up.
