He is proven in the lower divisions, he obviously knows LG1 and LG2, places that managers with higher budgets mostly dont bother with.

Lambert has been incredible at finding the lower league raw talents that he can mold into a team.
Players who are hungry for success and at the right age (24-26)

It would be ironic if his best signings are amongst his cheapest signings.
