speaking from experience id say the very minimum of mid life crises required is 5

✓two should involve a motor vehicle
✓one a woman
✓one a boat or aircraft
✓one involving taking up a new activity, pref slightly dangerous. (thus giving scope for another woman if required).

any more than this could be construed as being greedy
