my old telly is on the blink so it means I'll need to purchase one of those noo fangled

thin ones. I don't need any of that old HD, 3D, gimickie s**te, just bog standard tv. Prob 37".
Does anyone have any recommendations as to make and where to purchase? Don't really want to spend more than ?500, considerably less if poss.
