Just to add a bit more
Parts of our main development team use that.
It tends to make projects developer lead, rather than management lead. Goals are achieved in lots of small increments rather than large targets over a long period.
It tends to suit large teams more than small groups.
As others said, the software is checklist bug-tracker style project management.
