Mate of mine left them on contract, and had to cos

he was out of work and was in debt anyway

He said the more he said no, the more they their offer went down

He had to say to the guy how mint the deal sounded but he still had to go

I know kind of why that happens in general with phone contracts. Imagine you're contract on floors, when you cancel. The ground floor team ring you up, they've only got a set budget to offer you, and it's cack. They tell you it's all they can offer, when it's all their floor can offer

The more you say no, you go upstairs to a different floor, and a different retention team with bigger budgets and targets to keep you

Till eventually you have days left and they'll be begging you to stay

I can never be arsed with all that, so I answer the first call after quitting, say no, then ring back a week before the deal ends and see what they have to say
