Why do you have to make the choice of who runs the country, through going against a local candidate who you like who runs your area well (and gives a stuff about your area)

That doesn't make any sense either.

York can be as angry as it likes about Labour, but everyone in York knows that Hugh Bayley is a decent bloke, and a good representative for the area
