Politics
Not all Tories are wealthy toffs advicating that the needly and poor should all be fed to the hounds.
Not all Labour supporters are raving Marxist beardie-weirdies, hell bent on destroying England and the English.
The usual stuff all over the shop today. We can't have another Conservative Government because of what Thatcher did/Labour can't stay in for any longer because of the state we're in now/remember the winter of discontent etc etc...
Each party and their supporters can make very valid points about why their immediate opposite should not be running the country.

My thoughts are that politics has become too partisan, too dominated by hatred and suspicion of the "other lot", too much emphasis on "what they did" or "what they'll do".
I would prefer a system led by individuals not parties and taking responsibility, not putting the blame ("Conservatives will let old people starve and demolish hospitals/Labour will make us a Euro superstate and give everything away to gypsies") on others. Last night and today has been dominated by squabbling, b***hing, allegations made, and of, left right and centre...and people being whipped up into a state because of the others, not themselves. Such a shame.
I know I am a silly old hippy, but there you go!
