Well if you were based largely in Manchester, coming this way would be reasonable.

As long as you go early, links into Manchester are excellent. I can drive from here to Deansgate in 35 mins with clear traffic and rail links are very good. Anywhere up the M61 corridor north of Bolton and Wigan are nice.
